Where have I been?!

Been a crazy month of March as I was out of Singapore
for a week of Wedding function over at Indonesia, Bukit Tinggi.

Brought along 9 rolls of films! How great!
But I tell myself not to waste any of it as developing is costly too.
Will upload the Bukit Tinggi pictures when i got the CD back from Girlfriend.

In the Meantime, heres my photos taken by my fav Holga 120GCFN fitted
with the 'almighty' KING OF TOY CAMERA, Superheadz 35mm film holder!

This was my 2nd roll that i ever loaded in. The 1st roll was a disaster!
Do note that some of the pictures below kena crop/cut due to the 35mm factor...

Nevertheless... great unexpected results. <3

Above;
Camera: Holga 120GCFN + 35mm back
Film: Efiniti 200

Ouh! And.... The Lomography Redscale XR 50-200 is just awesome!
Bring it out on a hot SUNNY weather! No matter how hot the weather is,
how bright or how many pails of water you sweat.....it is all worth it!
Shot with a Canon Rebel 2000 (EOS 300) loaded with.... comon'
do i have to repeat myself? :p

Efiniti 200 + Canon Rebel 2000

Its here! The photos that been taken using the Canon Rebel 2000 SLR!!
I was so excited of how great the pictures turns out to be.
Since this roll of film are just for testing, hope you don't mind
about the 'uncomposite' rubbish pictures! HaHs!

However, at ISO 200 of the film, the pictures is abit grainy.
Maybe due to the sharper glass lens than my Holga.

Canon Rebel 2000

Its a 1999 SLR!!

I was looking for another alternative to my film addiction
and I saw someone selling this at the local forum, Lomotionsg.com.

So I waste no time and did some magic over the internet,
oops, I was refering to Wiki-ing, Googling about the specs/review
etc of the camera.

Head down over to Hougang to have a view of the camera and I just
couldn't stop staring and the camera. For me, the Lightest DSLR I ever carried
was the Nikon D3100, but once I grab this baby....
geez! It almost weights nothing (for a huge camera).

Test all the functions on the spot at the location. Flash, Film advanced,
Timer, Shutter, Focus and many more yada yada yada......

Today will be the collection of my 1st film at Triple D.
I hope all the settings that i used are great. I think I'd use
all the modes like, Potraiture/Av/Auto/Tv/Manual/P yada yada....

heee...!

Hmm... if all goes well, i think i should make a review video for this. :p

Falls in which category?

Played with the camera's zone focusing.
Was amazed by how it works so easily.

I got bored thinking of what camera to bring over
for my oversea trip to Indonesia, Padang.

Lets say if I were to bring my full-frame film camera,
(refering to my 35mm Holga :p )
I would be spending a fortune on films and developing.
Practically its not the money that matters, but the end results is!

I'm stuck on a dilemma.

Themed: Passport Homeland

A new theme has came out, and this time,
it involves passport and homeland!

For a 5Day stay over at Indonesia, Padang,
I hope i could bring back the memories in stills.
Great places for those who just plainly loves nature and
the clean air and just simple life without the bustling noise of cars etc.

Check back out this space soon. (after 21st March)

Another Night Photography

To all those out there, who just started their interest in photography
and thinking what camera to get, which is good and which is bad.
Do lots and lots of research. BIG DSLRs doesnt mean you can
take great pictures. Its all in your head.
The saying goes "The photographer takes the picture, not the camera"

You can start small and go for semi-pro compact or what nowadays
seems like a trend are those micro 4/3s camera.

The above pictures was taken with a SONY H10,
and yup, don't ask me if the camera is any good.
Go google it, wiki it etc yourself.

I've used this camera and proud to say that I have no complains.period

ouh please i dont need to say it again.
PICTURES ARE IN HD!! click it!
